How does pricing work for twins?
Pricing is per child, per month: $3.99 for one child, $5.98 for two, $7.97 for three and $9.99 for four or more. Twins count as two children, so $5.98 a month.
Do caregivers have to pay?
No. Grandparents, nannies, daycare staff and co-parents join a child’s care team free. Each child can have up to 5 people, including you.
What happens after the free trial?
Your records stay yours. You can always view and export everything, free. A subscription is for adding new entries.
Is Mea Baby a medical app?
No. Mea Baby helps you record and organise your child’s care. It doesn’t diagnose, give medical advice or suggest medicine doses. If you’re worried about your child, contact your doctor.
Where is my data kept?
On your device. Nothing syncs unless you share a child with someone — then only that child’s records sync, so their phone can show them. Stop sharing and the server copy is deleted within 30 days.
Does Mea Baby use AI?
No, there’s no AI anywhere in Mea Baby. Suggestions, like a usual feed time, come from simple patterns in your own logs, and you can always tap to see why.
Can I take my records with me?
Yes, any time. Export a Mea Baby file with everything, including photos, or spreadsheets you can open anywhere. A Mea Baby file can be imported again later — on a new phone, for example.
Which vaccine schedules are included?
Kenya’s national schedule (KEPI) comes first, with county programmes. US and UK schedules are coming. You can always add a vaccine your clinic gave.
Which languages can I use?
English, Español and Kiswahili.
Which ages is Mea Baby for?
From birth to six. It’s most detailed for the first three years, and grows into potty, meals and toddler routines.
Will it tell me my child is behind?
No. Milestones show typical age windows, not deadlines, and nothing is ever marked “missed”. If something worries you, bring it to your next check-up.
